Nearly three-quarters of Americans think the United States is heading in the wrong direction under President Joe Biden, according to yet another bad poll for the president ahead of the midterm elections.
Despite grappling with low favorability ratings for much of his first term already, Biden's popularity experienced a deep downturn in recent months amid growing pessimism over the economy.
Now, a whopping 74 percent of Americans say the country is on the wrong track, while just 21 percent feel the nation is headed in the right direction, according to a new survey from NBC News.

The American Petroleum Institute (API) announced a new initiative, Energy for Veterans, designed to attract more veterans and transitioning service members into meaningful and well-paying careers in the natural gas and oil industry.
“Service members and veterans have numerous skill sets that make them ideal candidates for careers in the natural gas and oil industry,” Senior Vice President of API Global Industry Services Anchal Liddar said. “Our industry is one of the most veteran-friendly in the country and is committed to supporting the brave men and women who served in the military.”

LAWSUIT ABUSE IS NOT A SOLUTION FOR LOUISIANA’S COAST

In Louisiana, we have a knack for running job creators off to our neighboring states. One of the clearest examples of pushing businesses is out of Louisiana is the slew of frivolous lawsuits levied against oil and gas companies that have caused countless jobs and opportunities to leave our state. A 2019 study found that two years after the lawsuits were first launched, 2,000 jobs were lost directly attributable to the impact of the litigation risk. Proponents of the lawsuits claim the lawsuits will help bring resources to rebuild Louisiana’s coastline. In reality, these lawsuits and the proposed Freeport-McMoRan settlement currently on the table stifle job creation while doing little to nothing for the coast.

Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin is taking his fight for election integrity to the Biden Administration. He is part of a contingency of Secretaries of State from across the country calling out the Biden Administration over their efforts to federalize elections. In an obvious overreach effort the Biden Administration issued an executive order directing federal agencies to "expand citizens" by weaponizing federal agencies such as the Department of Labor and Housing and Urban Development into voter registration offices. This executive order is blatantly disregarding the direction of the constitution which mandates that state legislatures are responsible for the way elections are run.
We have seen liberals manipulate the election process in the past through mail-in ballots and day of registration. This is just one more way for the Biden administration to manipulate the sacredness of our electoral process.
