That’s why when Joe Biden swooped in and tried to regulate a Louisiana tradition like Horse Racing, Jeff Landry was quick to challenge him in court.
Just like he has throughout the entire Biden reign, Jeff took down another win against the Fed’s liberal overreach. He won a quick decision in court and a judge halted Biden’s new restrictive laws on the Louisiana Horse Racing Industry.
Landry explained the battle here:
"I am grateful Judge Doughty applied the law and blocked this federal overreach from devastating our state and the thousands of Louisianans in the horse industry here. Louisiana has not only regulated horseracing but also built an entire culture around it with the owners, trainers, jockeys, racetracks and patrons. ... The process of creating the law and its associated regulations showed a reckless disregard for the thousands of industry participants in Louisiana and a correspondingly reckless disregard for the impact to our state." - AG Jeff Landry
