One of the most liberal Senators in DC, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, along with one of the most conservatives, David Vitter of Louisiana, have teamed up on legislation that would make transparency greater regarding enforcement of fines by the Federal Reserve on banks with fines of more than $1 million. Both say this is a response to taxpayer payout of financial institutions, such that has occurred in the past.
